The cost of the cookie cutter depends on several factors:
- Quantity
- how many of the same shape do you want?
- Dimensions - smaller cookie cutters typically cost less than larger ones
- Complexity - simple shapes tend to cost less than more complex shapes
- Material - We use 2 materials, PLA plastic for our 3d printed cookie cutters, and alloy-steel for our metal cookie cutters. Cost varies between the two.
- Design - Are we designing the shape for you, or will you be providing the outline of the shape for us?
Prices below are estimates for a simple, 3" - 4" size.
3d Printed Plastic
- Set up fee - $25 one-time set-up fee

- Tooling Fee - $400 - $1,500 depending on the size and complexity
(Why so expensive? A tooling-mold has to be built in order to bend the strip-steel around the pattern. This is a costly process.)
